I won two Lemon law cases, one with a lawyer because the dealer was plating hard ball and got taken to the cleaners by mt Attorneys and it didn't cost me a dime. The lawyers make their money from the dealer and insurance companies. My Shysters got 65K plus I got a new vehicle, 5 year free warranty they would have saved a bundle. It took three years but I got to drive the lemon for free for three years.

Second one I did on my own because I learned from the first one and got the manufactured to give me a new vehicle within one week of me buying the lemon. A world record. That's another story on how that's done.

Now that they have agreed they will give you 100% retail value of the vehicle even if you bought it for $1.00. They will then sell you another one for full retail. I made out on mine because I bought the new lemon for 12K ( a super sale ) but the gave me 18K for it, and sold me the new on at full retail 18K.

They may ask you to pay so much a mile for the use of the vehicle you are getting rid of they may not.

It's a pretty simple process if you already have the go ahead and it's all a set system, If you want more you need a lawyer and then you may be jerked around for years with depositions and proof that you changed the oil as scheduled and that you took care of the vehicle and they will want to know ho many cars you have owned since you were 16 years old. Not kidding on these questions, they are designed to frustrate you and make you go away. They are experts at jerking you around. Me, I loved it and played the game, learned a lot and ended up beating them at their own game I loved it. Even the lawyer said he never saw the manufacturer I was suing get taken for so much. Once they started jerking me around it was GAME ON.

Being a MH your in for a rough ride because of the coach and the vehicle.

I'm really wondering what it was that can't be fixed on the Sprinter?

Good luck any question feel free to PM me.

as Tom Test wrote, I am most concerned that Chrysler won't compensate for the Pleasure Way coach portion of the value. Since Pleasure Way is a Canadian company,I wonder what liability they have. We won't hear from ISG until next week. They did call our home phone and of course, we weren't home! We had emphasized to use the cell number so we would not miss a call but that didn't work. I will keep this group informed.

I would get Pleasureway on the phone and tell them exactly what is happening. While you are the one who has title to the whole thing now, it was Pleasureway that purchased the specific vehicle from Dodge in the first place and then sold it to you. They have to have some (if not all)liability in this. I would also speak to an attorney to know exactly what your position is legally.

If you haven't already, I would certainly contact Pleasure-way and let them know what is going on and what action you are taking at this point. Who knows, they and other conversion companies might have gone through this before. They did purchase the chassis from Chrysler in 2008. I'm also asking myself why they built a 2010 on a 2008 Chassis.

Wow, So sorry to hear about problems with the Sprinter, especially with a Pleasureway conversion. We have had the usual Sprinter problems but the local dealer is quite experienced an has always been able to repair it.
Would you mind sharing the problems that caused the lemon law turn in?

we were told the van needed a new rear end. It would take 5 weeks to get it in and then we would have to wait for our turn on the dealers schedule. Various dealers worked on this including the Mercedes design engineer and the Sprinter regional service technician dtove 500 miles to replace the rear end but the parts never showed. He was really mad that HE couldn't even get parts. We have been working on this since April and have made over 80 calls and contacts. The Chrysler Customer Care people were not helpful and we had the Pleasure Way owner contacting behind the scene people at Mercedes and Chrysler. We have missed our entire summer camping season. we had scheduled a 3 month trip to the Canadian Maritime Provinces as a big anniversary trip, but maybe next year

That is the worst story concerning a Sprinter repair I have heard. I agree with your action. What is MB thinking screwing over Dodge/Chrysler like this? So much for a seamless transistion.
I hope you get satifaction even though nothing will get your summer back.

I will say that I love my Sprinter, even with it's oddities and especially the quality of the Pleasureway conversion.

Good luck!

This is one of the things that has some of the tradesmen I know (electricians, plumbers, etc) hesitant to get Sprinters. It appears none of the running gear assemblies is repairable. Engine, transmission, rear end all need to be totally replaced with new if they fail. These guys are used to having a local mechanic buddy, or shop that does the repairs on their Fords and Chevy vans, (often on a work swap) so they are a bit edgy about being tied to the dealer for the work and buying major assemblies. I wonder what kind of deal Fedex has with MB? They certainly wouldn't put up with having their vehicles out of service that long.

I sure wish I knew how fed ex gets parts around here! We have service technicians here, but the can't get parts. A dealer said he couldn't even get an air coditioner compressor in a month!

there are an awful lot of sprinters so I think that they are fairly goodbut if you have aproblem--it's all yours

We have been in frequent contact with PW. They made vague cimments that a very few buy backs had happened. They were, however, instrumental in getting us mercedes anhd chrysler help that we could not get from customer care.

The pw salesman said that they had bought a large number of sprinters in 08, but the market collapsed and it has taken this long to use them up
