Hey, at least he slowed down.

People in the northeast they don't slow down and don't need an excuse to drive like idiots. They do it with and without talking, texting, navigating on cell phones.

I never do that. Cause I gotta cut in and out of traffic lanes to get in front of them. That takes concentration. Besides, why else would they put a horn in cars. And using all your fingers at one time is a friendly wave...a sign of weakness. When only one is needed. Really...just kidding. But that is the way they seem to think around here.

We saw a lady slow suddenly in front of us in the left lane. As we passed her we saw that she was changing her shirt. At least she wasn't talking on the cell phone at the same time.

I guess many of us have GPS assisting us with our trips.....but I listen to mine, and don't stare at it. I refuse to "text" while driving, though I will talk on my cell phone, but use an earpiece.

I don't know if talking on the phone is any more distracting than talking with a passanger, or listening to the radio (or books on tape)....but that is really a personal thing, and only you know what distracts you.

I don't know about all of you, but, I am glad that I have cruise control in the RV.....it allows me to go back and get a sandwich when I'm hungry

Sitting up high in the RV gives one an opportunity to see a lot of actions that one rather not.

Using a hand-held cell phone is now illegal in the state of WA. Hooray! It used to be, about every other driver had one clutched to his/her ear.

The next big distraction that I've noticed, especially in younger drivers, is TEXTING while driving. Saw a young girl holding the phone, arms spread and elbows holding the wheel, all while she was typing away on her cell. She nearly rear ended a slower car. Just plain stupid.

LOL when you're only towing at 55 you might just as WELL drop on down to 45 you won't be that much more of a road block. I get a lot MORE concerned with the number of drivers who can't maintain their vehicle in a single driving lane and NOT have any excuse for it. Now THOSE are the folks who scare me cause it's just a complete lack of skill (and they MAY be stupid also).

I think you'll find most of the "drifters" are on the phone.

It's been illegal here in Ca. for over a year but you still see about 1 out of every 10 cars' drivers talking on the phone without a bluetooth.
People just don't get it.
