I use the same thing, but mine is only about 8" long. I would think something like one of the Lynx blocks wouldn't be flat enough and would allow for more slippage than something wood.

I use a 4x6 block on the tongue and Lynx levelors under the stabilizers

Hmmmm never even knew those existed ... those Lynx caps are kind of neat and might have to pick up a set if they are reasonable and I run across them.

Unless the ground is soft, there is only dirt under our tongue jack. If soft ground, a Lynx Leveler block.

I have a team of Engineers working on a solution for this problem as we speak.
Like the flag pole thing, will have to look into that.

I just want to point out one thing, regardless of the size of wood or plastic you put under the jack there is still going to be movement in the jack itself.
