I speak several foreign languages fluently. They are British, Australian, Canadian english (Eh?). And many others non-fluently (French, Spanish, German Japanese, Polish. Actually these are limited to "Beer?", "Toilet?" Really all I really ever needed. That explains my level of expertise.
Using Thesaurus English(US) in M/S Word shows Gray as a Color. For the word Grey, the same Thesaurus shows no results were found.
In Words English dictionary it shows Grey as an alternative spelling for Gray. But does not describe Gray as an alternative spelling for Grey.
This tells me that Gray is the correct English spelling. And if you use Grey, you are speaking a second language. And if you are in any country, you should try to speak the native language.
If you are posting from a different country, your use of Grey is acceptable. But when your post shows up on a USA computer screen the bytes should show up as GRAY. Since this does not happen, I think Al Gore has some work to do on his internet invention. And a government grant will probably be issued.

Yes, but I'm not talking about colors, or words found in the dictionary. This is a particular name for a tank in an RV...
I did find this:

But, then, maybe this isn't an American company, I don't know. And maybe my confusion all stems from the fact that my trailer is Canadian and the manuals probably have it as grey.
This is a critical issue. And - anyway I was told I could spell it however I wish. GREY!
