I was insured with State Farm until I purchased my new trailer. They did not offer replacement cost so I switched to Progressive. Living in South Florida with a new trailer the replacement cost settlement was important to me.

I don't think SF offers any RV insurance for Full Timers.

But I do know if one of their customers damage a Full Time person's MH.
They will pay for a Motel & car rental while MH is in the shop being repaired.

I have received several dividend checks over the years. I think this year will be the first in 3 we don't (based on the recent financial they sent). I do know there is more than one entity in State Farm. I had different ones in New York, Cali, and here. So one may have a dividend while another does not.

We have been with them for 29 years. Started the year I joined the Air Force. Some where I have a letter stating they will never cancel my policy unless I don't make my premium payments. That coupled with safe driver, multi line and valued customer discounts nobody has beaten their price.

Plus Mike's office with real people is a mile away.

When some kid hit our 5er changing lanes ( he changed lanes into us) then tried to file as claim they told him to pound sand. never heard from him again.

Oh and on windshields, in 1990 they bought 3 for our new Jetta at $800 a pop no deductible and no rate change.

I just changed my TT insurance from State Farm to Progressive. Saved me $145 a year, lower deductible and will give replacement value.

The first year we got little dividend checks but have not in a long time. Since the TT is a stand alone policy it didn't bother me a bit to make the change.

Can't complain about State Farm. Bought a TT a few years back, made one $8.90 insurance payment. TT got hit by lightning frying converter and board in Fridge. State Farm paid over $1000 to repair. Later had hidden water damage, SF paid another $2,500. Total premiums paid over 7 years, roughly $750.

I've had State Farm since I started driving. My only complaint is they don't insure farms in MD so I had to move my homeowner's to another company.

I had my house with state farm for years due to the fact my SIL worked there.
When autos and truck was due for insurance I called and ask they beat Grainge by over $600 a year from what I had been paying, I called Grange they could not come close even with their discounts. I also decided to see what their SF, coverage would be for my 2003 TT when the bill arrived it was much higher than agent said it would be almost doubled I called and they said my trailer was worth $18,000 this was in 2009. I droped the coverage and I never carried insurance for replacement cost

I absolutely HATE State Farm. Marginal coverage at inflated prices, and I have shopped several times but always find USAA cheaper.

My experience is just the opposite. I've been with State Farm for 30 years but did some shopping around a couple of months ago (Progressive, Geico, USAA, AARP, Nationwide). None even came close, and USAA was the worst - their quote was more that double what I pay with SF. The only thing I don't have insured with SF is my motorcycle.

You can never really make generalizations about comparative insurance rates--too many factors are involved--what kind of rigs you drive, your credit, the area you live in, the regulatory climate of your state, driving records, types of drivers, and the kind of care and attention you get from your agent all work into the final bottom line.
If any insurance company had 100% satisfaction from its customers there wouldn't be any competition.
Best advice--if you are satisfied, stay where your are and if you aren't do some smart shopping.

I've had State Farm for over 40 years. I have my house, both trucks, both ATV's, 5th wheel and motorcycle Trike all insured with them. They have always been very good about paying claims and making sure I was whole again. My rates are the lowest I could find anywhere. I am completely satisfied with them.
