I have a 8 platform ladder. It's really nice a safe to have a surface to stand on and be able to use both hands on what you want to do. I carry this on the rear attached ladder along with lounger and rocking chair ( both fold up).

I have a Werner folding ladder, you can buy them at Loews. It makes a nice stepladder and can be used as an extension. Cost less than a Little Giant and will support 300lb on each side. I would suggest he 17' or 22'. Love mine
