I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but it is 5:30 am and I can't sleep.
Here are some words that I constantly see mispelled or mis-used:
B-R-A-K-E-S....These are things that stop your vehicle, trailer, MH, etc. They will often emit smoke after traveling down from high elevations. This is not good, by the way.
B-R-E-A-K-S...This is something you take after washing your rig in the boiling sun, often with a beer in hand.
A-X-L-E....This is a component under vehicles, trailers, MH, and all rigs that support the rig. Tires, wheels, and brakes are connected to these. The bigger the axle, the more it can carry weight wise. None too big for my MIL.
A-X-E-L...This is what ice skaters do when they jump up and spin around. DO NOT try this in a MH, the ceiling is too low.
I have given up using spell check on here as it usually doesn't work.
I'm sure there are many more, but I think I'll go back to bed now.

Your browser should have spell check.

But that doesn't do anything about meanings for different spellings. Google does.

Incorrect spelling does not put my panties in a bunch but it does seem to be a lost art, as are proper punctuation and grammar. One must realize that RVers are in all shapes and sizes and educational backgrounds. Most times one can figure out what is being said but I'm sure there are English teachers out there spitting nails with what is written at times. However, I see the same problems with the television and newspaper "journalists."

I had a boss once who, had an annoying habit of marking up every writing he came across like it was an English class homework assignment. Guess he just didn't have a hobby he enjoyed but most coworkers found it pretty humorous. Before long they began making SURE there were things to correct in everything that crossed his desk.

One problem with spell check is that it won't tell you that you have the wrong word. It'll tell you if the wrong word is misspelled. Bad spelling and punctuation bug me and I was a math teacher. Apostrophes in plurals especially irk me. DW says, if it bothers me, I need to get a job.

You spelled mispelled {sic} wrong. It is spelled misspelled. I also believe that mis-used is not hypenated as you did. Lastly "None too big for my MIL" shows up on the grammar checker.

You know....glass houses and all........

Misspelled words are a great way to get peoples attention to read your post. Just one work and you'll get at least one person to post you screwed up. So now you know they've read your post. Don't forget how many different way English is spoke here in this great country. You have the south bayou to the New York slang. Let's not forget the other northeast accent and then you have Texas and the west coast. A lot of these people spell the same way as the talk.

You just don't know how true that is! As a matter of fact there are at least four different ways it is spoken just here in NC.
And the word I will add is - Advise (advice) ** I need some advise on my _____________.

***Oh and you misspelled "work", it should have been "word"
