Same as most here, I do all research and come up with possible units that I feel will work for us and DW will usually pick floorplan. On our current tow vehicle, I did some research (already knew what I wanted, just trying to get best deal) I pointed her toward diesel powered Silverado. She hates the smell of diesel (former smoker with very sensitive nose) so she "talked me into the 8.1 BB that I wanted in the first place.

Hummm...there was someone else asking pretty much the same question a few minutes ago. Might check THEIR thread and see what kind of answers they got

I can honestly say it was a compromise. Still trying to figure out if that was a good or bad thing .

Would have been me, I screwed up and posted in the wrong area. Not sure if I could delete a post. Sorry about that.

I would say that we are both equally involved. We both research and compare our results with each other, we do the leg work together and then decide between us what our choice will be. Its more fun to have someone to do it with!

I Locate several of My Choices and the GW looks at the Pictures and gives a TU or a TD! Then we go and Look at it together to check the Details !

My DW "keeps house". All the planning is mine. When, where, how long, sightseeing, eating out, etc, it's all mine. Been that way since we started RV'ing in 1975 and continues now that we are full time.(10 years) In planning, I try to balance our interests without her asking. She likes the beach and hot weather. I prefer cool and mountains.
She's happy, I'm happy. Life's great.

Camping and the CGs is my turf as I'm the one who likes doing it my wife has but one request and that is to fit in seeing both of our kids. One lives in Tampa and the other in Tucson so getting there is left to me as we wil see a lot of the US no matter what. LOL

We have been married for a long time and have always shared decision making. We seldom disagree and most large purchases are not made unless both agree. We rarely buy for wants but have no problem purchasing what we need such as appliances, insurance and the like. I installed a voting method giving each of us a vote. Only problem is she gets to break ties.
