Moderator has to do a lot of moving posts to correct forums. Maybe a new title is needed that is not confusing to quite a few with the "technical" in post title. Maybe just "Forum Support"?

I appreciate your concern; however, I get a 1% bonus every time I move a thread.
A few years ago, I did a survey to see why members erroneously posted in Forum Technical Support. The name of the forum was rarely mentioned. By far the number one reason - They had clicked on the Forum Help and Support link at top right of most forum pages. Renaming this forum would not change that situation.
Another popular reason: "I didn't know where to place the post and knew you would put it in the correct forum."
Most of the misplaced posts come from new members or members that rarely post. When I move a post from a new member, I get a chance to open a dialog, welcoming them to the forum and providing them with a link to a description of each of the forums.
That said, Sarah can detect when I have an abuser - a member that has made half a dozen posts over a period of time; all of them misplaced in FTS.

I figured long ago that the "Forum Help and Support" link was the culprit! It's too bad that miss-categorize posts don't immediately expunge themselves("Moved to.."), at least from the support forum. Primarily because it can force legitimate forum support posts from dropping down the thread list in too short a period of time. Which could contribute to duplicate new posts basically asking the same question.
Maybe changing the "Forum Help and Support" link to "Forum Questions?" might help. Or using that last "sticky" for a "Read This Before Posting" thread might work. Just a thought!
