Good question for "Do it Yourself",, not sure I want any one else to do this.
LOL I just didn't know where else to post the question!

Well, it looks like others have put some "deep thought" into this too, so I think I will look to use just the cheap stuff we have at home (Kirkland/Costco brand)!

We use the 2-ply from Samsclub but we flush/rinse out our black tank after dumping as part of our routine.

No. Some of the toilet papers have lanolin or some other oils built into them and they will not dissolve for a long time. They also tend to clump up. Does feel soft as a feather on your skin though.

We fulltime and buy the cheapest TP we can find. Never had a problem with any thing we used. I use a Sewer Solution for my dump hose (1" diameter) and it has never had a problem with it. I can't see where a 3" stinky slinky would ever have a problem.
As for the sensors not working.......I don't think they ever worked even on the showroom floor

Unless you are a "fulltimer" I'm not sure that TP quality and price should be a "budget-buster" consideration...we use very little compared to home useage what with the few times we get the unit out so that factor doesn't influence decisions as much as,say, diesel costs ......IMHO, of course

They failed to test one brand that some friends of mine had their kid do as a science experiment, which was MD/Angel Soft. It has a rather fast dissolving rate and the 2-ply isn't terribly harsh on the bottom.

Yup! I found in my testing that Angel Soft dissolves the best. And - it is 2 ply. I hate 1 ply.

Oh - and Cottonelle was the worst. Didn't even dissolve overnight.

We've switched to Angel Soft in the house and the camper.
