I bought a gallon of Red Max Pro at Lowe's yesterday for $15.95. I washed backcap real good and got off all black streaks. I actually cleaned it 3 times to make sure. I put 4 coats of Red Max Pro on it to make it shine. It is one of the best I have ever seen. It really looks great. Plan on doing the front cap in the next couple of days as time allows. This is being put on an 89 Coachman class A. This product goes on real easy

I am not the original poster, but thanks for the recommendation. The product looks great and I just ordered it. I am looking forward to seeing how it works.

After reading this thread I purchased a gallon at Lowe's and applied it to the front cap on my 5th wheel. I have tried numerous waxes to keep the shine in that area with limited suscess. I am amazed how well it works. The shine is better than I got with two coats of Mcguires gold paste wax and it took lot less effort. Of course I don't know how it will hold up over time but I am very happy so far. Four coats barely touched the gallon. It should last for many years and coats.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it but I recommend that you wear latex gloves while putting on the Red Max. I didn't and spent a long time with a scrubbing pad trying to get it off my hands. That stuff really sticks. My finger nails still look like I put clear nail polish on them.
