Thinking about this route, towing 31-ft 5vr. Any issues with route, rode condition/traffic? I assume it's 2-lane.

I take it your not leaving from Hanford??
When you get to Palmdale, I would head north on Hwy 14 to Mojave and take Hwy 58 to Barstow then the 15.

If you will be going North on the 15, then I would do as F-Troup said. If you ill be going South o the 15 then I would take the 138. It is a good ride, the traffic isn't bad. It is all 55mph. Some 4 lane but not much. I drive it a lot but I do stay at 55. You never know when there is going to be a CHP with radar out there. Only two small grades to climb one steep downgrade. . It's about 40 miles from palmdale to the 15 fwy.

Trying to find alternate route bet Hanford and Ontario, in case Lebec fire causes problems on 5. Don't want to be late for the PBR.
That all for the advise.
