We're looking for a new TT pull toyhauler and like the idea that we could build one to our needs. I've done a search on the forum for "Dune Sport" toyhaulers and could not find any negative or positive comments on the brand.
Has anyone heard good or bad on this manufacturer? Any feedback would be great.
Rumor has it they have one piece aluminum roofs

I own one and have had it now for almost 2 years, and I must say we love it. We have not had but one thing that has needed repaired and it was covered by Onan for our generator. They are very easy to deal with and really work with you to help you answer all the questions possible. Read thru the customer comments. There are people from all over the US that have purchased them. We have put about 14000 miles on our TH now. I am not seeing any unusal things I have inspected the underside a couple of times now and have not found anything on the underside that I can see in the way of cracks or what would be considered poor construction. Overall in comparison to the other TH's on the market I would put mine up against any of them out there. Also I paid about 8 grand less than camping world for a comparable model. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

We purchased our toy hauler from Dune Sport in April of 2008. What a great company to deal with. We did have a few small items that needed to be fixed after using it for a few months. When we went to get the warranty work done, we found that the manufacture had gone belly up, so no warranty. Dune Sport stepped up to the plate and fixed everything on their dime. If I were in the market for a new toy hauler, I would definitely purchase from them again and would highly recommend them to others.

Sorry bout that. Soo, now what ya shop'n for? The slide in camper doesn't offer enough sq. footage? Or was the sale of the WW part of the plan towards something different?

Got this from Glamis Dunes.com
Quote: Well I just got a new 2011 16'firestorm. New to hauling and had a wight limit. They seemed the lightest so I called and asked lots of questions. I was assurred it was 3,580 so I could still get my bikes in and stay under 5,000lbs. they seemed so nice and helpful. They told me mid to late june(6-8weeks) for delivery. Then it went downhill. They date changed to late july...then maybe sometime in august. I had to threaten to cancel to get it deliverd by the end of July. For a hefty fee they delivered it 1,600 miles to my house in Indiana. They didn't quality check it first. The rear door seal was torn, the cabinet was chipped, panel cracked, decals put on poorly, exterior lights on crooked, screen door had screws falling out and door damaged, and couch pulled out of wall. I took it on a trial run without my bikes loaded. On that trip the sinks leaked(fittings were loose), 2 outlets didn't work, and awning pins don't pop out to adjust awning hight. Then I find out it is over 700lbs heavier than I was promiced. It will also be in the shop for at least 3 weeks(they are all backed up). When I confronted Chance and wanted compensation for all the issues, hastles, and it being overweight he told me they would DENY anything they told me over the phone and I should've gotten it in writing. I already contacted the BBB and will soon be contacting the attorney general and an attorney. their website is deceiving...He also told me he has many people that tow his trailers with the same vehicle as mine....there is even a picture of it on the website. Well I found him and he had problems with his too and it was also almost 1,000lbs over what he was told and had to sacrifice taking one of his quads. All they care about it the sale. Maye they are just getting too big for themselves and I know they changed manufacters this year. Maybe that is why mine is a POS! There is no excuse for falsely missleading the consumer. Now I have a overpriced toyhauler for the quality that I'm scared won't have durablitly or value. buyer beware!!!

Thanks Darryl,
Yikes...... sounds like the old Weekend Warrior squeakers
I checked BBB and their listed complaints against Dune Sport are minimal.

Hi Dave,
We sold the WW3305 and still have the Lance. The WW was just too large for us and we wanted to downsize. We also wanted to move back to a TT as opposed to the 5th wheel. We actually missed our old WW FB2200. We plan on keeping the Lance as I have it dialed in with solar panels and 6 volt batteries. I was bachelor camping at Mammoth for 3 weeks and didn't need the generator except to microwave a couple of dinners. For one person the Lance is great, but with both Diana and I, one week camping is about perfect.
Our camper is a keeper.
I just ordered a new Can Am Commander 1000XT so I'll need another toyhauler. Looking for a used TH is a real pain, so it seems like a great option have one built to our needs with Dune Sport. We're going with a 23' or 24' front bedroom unit.
We're keeping the economy stimulated
