Have decided on a Fuzion. Think it will be best all weather toy hauler and we like the floor plan.

Have seen prices all over the board. We are looking to get a steal of a deal on a new or barely used unit.

What should we pay for a:

393
400
405

Would be happy with a 2010 or 11.

Have heard some say about 37k would be a good price. We've been to dealers who started the 405 at 75k and another dealer that started at 45k!

I'm interested in this thread. In Montana dealers don't want to go below $40k.

I've seen that, though I've heard from folks who got their trailers for less.

You should figure between 28-35% off of a real MSRP to get a good deal. The average MSRP on those units are $68-75K. Those with Touring Edition II packages MSRP is about 8K higher on average. So around $45-54K for the regular and add $7-8K more for the TE IIs. Depends on options too.

I bought a new '10 TE II Fuzion 398 for about 29% off of the national MSRP(that I found) average even with trading in my old hauler. This price was about 2K more than what the big wholesalers back east were selling it for at the time. Felt good buying local and dealing with the trade. There can be some good deals out there if you get the right place.

I'm looking at the 398. How has it been reliability wise. To tow and to park we were a little worried that the places in Colorado we like to go (mostly back country state parks) it would not fit or would be a bit hairy.

The 398 seems like an ideal floor plan.

Where does one go to get the best deal on new or a used 2010.

What should the leftover 09 and 10's be going for ?

I don't know where the best deal for one is but if enough of us were interested maybe a dealer would give us all a good discount.

Guys, hold off on buying a 398 unless you order it from the factory. There is a design flaw(that showed up in my 398) and maybe others. Read up on my posts about Keystone and the problem with my hauler. Just a warning, there are over 30 pages in three seperate threads with around 500 posts. Read and make up your own mind. I'm still giving them the thumbs up(Keystone and the 398) unless you haul heavy like me.

On another note, there are quite a few state parks here that have spots for the big rigs. Check out this site and you can pic your state park and search for 40+ spots.
