We had the same problem with our 36ft 3007 Fleetwood bounder on our first big trip to the southwest. Were at a GS park in Salina,Ks and left front jack would not come up. Another camper came over and disconnected the plug that they plugged into after removing the boot and used battery charger with small alligator clamps and hooked on and plugged into electric post and jack ran right up. We didn't use our jacks for the rest of the trip. Just called ahead for level spotsl, explaining our problem with the jacks. We did have home made jack pads that we used to back up on to level out in some spots.
We eventually had problem taken care of. A problem with computer board and 2 recalls and replacement of boot so water can drain out.
These were electric jacks not hydraulic. Ours I believe are gear box brand. Good luck. Warranty if you have any should help. We didn't have to pay a penny.

If it is the hwh system you have to loosen the T handle that is on the solinoid under the hood next to the oil resivor a couple of turns. This relives the pressure. My solinoid is the 2nd one in from the left.

Exactly, had to do this once. My coach has 4 solenoids located under the entrance steps.

I have Bigfoot Hydraulic jacks and they stuck down twice last month.

The first time I called coach net and a tow company came out to release the jacks.

The tow guy had to power the jacks from each unit under the coach to retract them.

Neither the tow guy or myself knew about the 120 amp reset switch on my firewall

The second time they stuck in my front yard at home and I spoke to Bigfoot direct.

Turns out there is a reset switch on my firewall near the batteries that had to be reset.

The reset button is the same color as the device (it is not the red finger you can see) and it is under the left edge of the reset device.

I painted it orange after I found mine so I can see it if I need too.

Bigfoot told me that if the amperage drops to a low level it will pop the reset.

I no longer extend all! I now just extend 2 jacks at a time or 1 at a time and have not had any problems.

What you will have to do is, retract the other jacks. Install some large diameter wood blocks under the LF jack as many as will fit. Then Raise the front jacks. This will cause the LF to lift first. Once the RF jack raises above the mud, install a wood block under it to keep it from going down in the mud again, then retract and keep adding blocks under the RF until you can get it retracted. The odds are you have defective springs or a defective cylinder. Doug

Help! I am in a pasture camping alone with my family. Got ready to move and my left front jack will not go back up! All others work. I tried hitting store buttons several ti
es, turn it on and off. It will still go down more, but just not come up.

I see a small nut on the side of the jack. If I turn this would that help or make matters worse ?

Try putting them all the way down, then start the engine before trying to bring them up assuming they aren't auto with engine start like mine.
Sometimes all they need is this recycle to work properly.
If all else fails, loosen the hose fitting to relieve pressure and then try prying up on it. If you have the type with springs, so much the better.

Amen.

However, did you hear the old joke about the guy that was drowning and kept praying for God to save him? He was sure that divine intervention would save him from the water. Everytime a boat would come by he would tell them that God was going to save him. He drowned. When he got to heaven he ask God why he was not saved from the water, God said "I sent three boats and you refused their help".

Run the other jacks down to releave pressure on that jack and try to raise it. There is a good chance that if they are hydrallic the bolt may relieve the pressure. Good luck.
This is good advice from Jim and it worked for me last month! I also put a very light coat oil on a rag and oiled the jacks before they came up! John

This was a common problem for me when I had a hydraulic jack.

I was able to fix it permanently by putting in stronger springs to retract the jacks.

In the interim, i would get a stick or pole and just gently bang on the jacks while they were in retract mode. If you dont have a stick or pole you can do what i did too and just kick it with your foot just to try and create some motion to get it moving.

Silicone spray definitely helped -- but i found i had to use it quite frequently, so i decided to just install stronger springs for a more permanent solution

Also waiting (and praying) seemed to work but it could take twenty minutes sometimes. I think your situation is only going to get worse. next time you extend clean the cylinders and spray a lot of silicone spray. if it happens again after that, then consider some stronger springs if you want a permanent solution
