I have the Firestone Ride Rite and like them a lot. I had the dealer install them, but I'm sure you can do it yourself if you are so inclined.

Just put the kit in by AirLift. They have application specific matched kits. Much better ride and now we can tow at night without blinding on-coming traffic. We got ours in Sacramento at American Pastimes. They're one of the biggest west coast air suspension dealers. Decent pricing too.

I have not delt with firestone or the others, but I want to you look at pacbrakes airbags and compaire materials and warrenty vs the other two you have picked. I have installed them on my Dodge and my bosses Ford. The Dodge was easy and the Ford was a PIA. The bags work as well as everyone has described. They are all about the same, but you will see that they are made differently. Enjoy your bags what ever you buy! Happy camping!

I have the same truck as you. I just installed the Air Lifts and compressor. It probably took me around 6 hours crawling around on the driveway. The air bags bolt on, the only drilling you need to do is for the inflation valves, I mounted mine on the rear bumper near the license plate, I added the compressor a couple of weeks later. I mounted the compressor under the rear seat. The tubing and wires were run under the door plates and I drilled a hole in the back of the cab to run the air line out to the air bags. I had to reroute the air lines I had already installed to have enough air line.
The on board compressor and gauge is nice, I can lower the bags while hitching and then inflate them once I'm hooked up. I run around 40 PSI when towing.
I bought mine off Amazon, best price I could find.
Good luck.......Tim

Quote: so you only run 10-15 psi? I know my weights are higher than yours, 12500+/- empty, but I have been running mine at 55 psi on my f250, I never tried it that low, how does it ride when towing?
I tried running higher pressure, but the rear of the truck raised too far. It rides fine at 15 psi with the fiver hooked on.
