According to the parts diagram from Winnebago, it should be either underneath my refrigerator or sink. Everything else that is supposed to be underneath there, IS there, but the magnetek converter is NOT there. I've looked all over for this thing. Removed the breaker panel and it is not behind it either. Any ideas? Does Winnebago keep track of where they put equipment by rig serial #? I was wondering if I called them, would they know. It is a 2001 model.

We have a 2000 Winnebago Adventurer. We have a drawer under our oven and it's in there in ours. You have to pull out the drawer and shine a flashlight in that space. It's got a metal box over it.

Well, we don't have an oven, but I did shine my flashlight and look behind the "wall" underneath the sink, and pulled out the drawer underneath the frig, and I see everything I am supposed to see, OTHER than the converter. Went back and looked again the next day because I can't figure out where the gizmo is. I know what it looks like when I see it, I just don't see it.

Follow your shore cord at 1 end it plugs into 110V and the other end it hard wires into your converter.

Your converter is a Magnetek ... is it a 6300?

Open your breaker/fuse box, if the cover says Magnetek 6300 on it then the converter is in the wall, on the back side of the box who's cover you are looking at.

NOTE: I call it Magnajunk, it will kill your batteries fast. My best suggestion is an upgrade from www.bestconverter.com Scroll down to EXTRA INFO for information on how to go about that.

Both Progressive Dynamics and Xantrex make very good converters. Randy sells both.

Mine is a Magnetek 7445 according to my paperwork. I was considering changing it out after doing some reading up on the topic, but I am unable so far to locate the device.

My Mag 7445 was found under the sink, had to lift the sink cabinet bottom to see it. BTW, replaced it with a PD 9245 w/ charge wizard.

****BINGO****
That is exactly where it was. THANK YOU!!!. It was underneath the cabinet under the sink. After I removed all the items underneath our sink, I could see a small access panel. Removed the panel and THERE SHE IS.
Thanks again!
