I don't think you will have any luck. How will you keep things cold while you are on the road or boondocking? Replacement for the Dometic was $3400, Whirlpool was $395 (Lowes). Height & depth was ok, but had extra room on sides. Two pieces of wood trim corrected this. You will have to support it from moving. Two bolts at rear and two 1/4 hex head wood screws (lag bolts)at front, 3" 1x2's at corners keep it from shifting. Also put a 5/16th eye bolt on each side with a cargo strap over fridge to prevent rocking. If your opening is not that big, some of this may not be necessary. Fridge will stay cold on a 5/6 hr travel day. We use a remote wireless therometer with the receiver in the truck to keep an eye on it. Only boondocking we do is an occasioal overnighter, for that the genny does the job.
