How do I stop my fresh water from leaking out of the over flow hose. The tank isnt to full. I keep my Jayco trailer on our lake lot.

Some folks put a shut off valve in the overflow and then once the tank is full shut the valve off. But you have to rmember to open the valve when filling or you may have a much bigger problem.

I'm betting it's leaking from the vent tube. Never heard of an overflow hose on a trailer. Usually all you need to do to stop the vent from siphoning your water is to break the siphon. Put your finger over the hole and let it drain back into the tank. Once stopped it should stay stopped unless your vent tube is positioned wrong in the tank.

I added the shutoffs to the overflows on mine. It just keeps the tank full so the syphon does not start on the tank overflow.
