Generator, (2) 5 gallon gas containers, tote on wheels for sewage. (2) 50' rubber hoses (easier than one 100' hose). Cell phone, computer & internet card, 12v cell phone charger. 12v television is nice to have. Use truck stops for your showers whenever possible, credit card, tools, spare fuses. I carry a spare water pump, fittings and clamps. You'll be able to go for years at a time.

RV boondocking is like boat cruising & anchoring out, no marinas.

Battery capacity, fresh water capacity & holding tank capacity are king. The more the better. Things like solar panels & a good sized genny are icing on the cake.

I've read through all the suggestions and noted that they missed the most important one. Don't forget a note pad.

I'll throw in a Nature's Head. We love ours. It's not essential, mind you, just convenient.

Have a blast! I hope we catch up to you soon after November!

There are some good suggestions here. Have a safe trip and enjoy it.

We have a solar shower bag in our 5th wheel for when we are boondocking. Just lay it in the sun, it heats up to almost hot. I then lay it on the tailgate or hood of the pickup and wash my hair, rinse our hands, etc. It cuts down on fresh water useage and less drained in the grey tanks.
It really does work and we really like it!
Happy Trails and keep us updated! Okie

If your going to get new batteries, I would go with 2-6V T-105 Trojans..... plus a little self defense may be in order.... rember your in the middle of nowhere, so the phone may work fine, but help could be 50 to 100 miles away.
