thanks for all the advice it was very helpful. After a long day of looking at a lot of junk used trailers we decided on a new 2011 layton joey model 249 it was a litttle bigger and a little more money than we planed but it had everything we wanted so as long as the financing goes through we pick it up next saterday we can't wait going to a long week at work. thanks again for the tips on buying used

Tires are a regular maintenance item. I wouldnt worry too much about those. Water damage and soft floors though, thats a deal breaker.

Congrats, Archer! You won't regret it! We have the Skyline Nomad (2009) and we're LOVING it!!

We just scared ourselves yesterday towing it around...kept hearing a loud screeching noise whenever we turned a corner. So I gotta get some gear lube to put on the towing ball! :-)
