How many pages is her timesheet? If less than 5 pages, then one option is to use a free service such as FaxOrama.com. Just scan and save her timesheet(s) in one of the supported graphic formats, I prefer .PNG because it uses lossless compression. Once you attach the timesheet file, it's then converted and faxed to the recipient. The Free service limits you to a maximum of two faxes sent per day. You might want to give it a test try.

What do ya'll recommend for a color printer/scanner/copier "all in one" that has wireless capabilities and a SMALL footprint?
A couple of weeks ago I picked up an HP 4500 at Costco for $99. Print, scan copy letter or legal size, feed multiple pages at a time and print wirelessly or via USB. Foorprint is 12x17 inches with the fold down paper output tray extending from the 17 inch side. I'm glad I didn't buy one of the higher priced ones they had - no need!

Mine is a HP 4680 All-in-one printer, copier, scanner, fax, wireless capability. Its dimensions are 17"L X 10.5" W X 8"H. Not a really 'small footprint', to be sure, but not too big and it comes in handy!!!

My thanks to everyone who responded. A lot of good info and suggestions. I like the scan-email thing and my DW will check at her work to see how they would like the time sheet and in what format. The one she sends in by "fax" will just be for in office accounting...to calculate her paycheck. She will still have to mail a "hard copy" in from wherever we are for the permanent record. So I am hoping they will accept the email thing.
