Do class A's have any automatic start features for the generator's?

For example, when the thermostat calls for cooling, the gen starts up.

Mine has that feature, but it's an option, not offered as standard equipment. The T-stat for auto temp start is designed to connect with the inverter control unit, making it different than the standard T-stat. The auto start temps are programmed through the inverter control panel and use the T-stat to monitor coach temps.

Onan has one available http://www.cumminsonan.com/autostart/

I installed an older version of this on mine.

This is a good unit. I installed it on my last coach. For auto temp start I went to Lowes and picked up a T-stat to connect directly to the Onan auto start. The dedicated T-Stat was only used when I set it to auto start at predefined temps. It worked perfectly, .. our little four legged friends where happy

Ours kicks on the gen when bat gets low. You have to know what you are doing to set the darn thing though.

Mine has a kick start system; when we're in bed and it gets too hot, my wife kicks me and I get up and hit the genny button.

Just had this installed last weekend at the Rally. Works by temp and battery level, luckily we haven't had the need to use it yet, but it's there for a piece of mind for the four legged friends.
