bombero, If I was ordering a new 5th wheel and they wouldn't let me delete the over priced OEM TV I wouldn't order from them.

When we ordered our last Mobile Suites we deleted TV, and all funiture. We have owned a total of 6 5th wheels and never ever found RV funiture to be comfortable, and we had the Untra Leather funiture on down, so we didn't take the RV funiture. We have Lazy Boy funiture. Very comfortable and doesn't weight 1/2 as much as RV funiture.

Don't know about all RV manufactors but Drv will let you order what you want. However Drv has different options, most TV's are Samsung or Sony for the living area.

So I will just have to agree to disagree. FYI to the OP you can get the Samsung brands in 3 D now, just wasn't our taste. GBY....

I'm sure you could have it delivered without the TV. The retail price for a 32" Jensen is around $600, a 42" is $1000. The best you can expect is a credit for the wholesale cost. You may need to purchase a wall mount also if you ask for no TV. Jensen is supposed to be designed for the bouncing etc. as the RV is going down the road. I do not know anyone who has one, and nobody I know has any problems with other brands.

We ordered a (then) new 2009 Keystone Laredo and deleted the TV from a standard package. We were given full credit for it. The articulating mount was part of the package and was deleted also. Same reason as you - I wanted to add my own TV. I added a TV of my own choosing later and although I ended up paying about the same as the Keystone package I have a much better TV (Sony Bravia) with a better mount.
The order was placed and handled through RVDirect.

Well just to complete this story I ended up buying the Cougar High Country and took the one on the dealer's lot so it came with the 32" Jensen LCD. I've already pulled it out and replaced it with a far better Samsung that's slightly larger that I found at Best Buy as an open box deal. It fit perfectly and I'm very pleased...

Now I have a new 32" Jensen LCD for sale...I wish they'd left the stand in the Cougar as I'm sure it'd make the Jensen easier to sell.
