I will apologize ahead of time as I didn’t really search but I’m pressed for time. I found 2 of the 45\' WW full throttle TH both with 17 foot garages. Perfect for what I need it for BUT I have e been seeing allot of bad things on WW. Can’t find anything specific on the one I’m looking at other then this WW and they are out of business.

Anyone have one? What if any are the issues these things have been having. ect ect

Should I pass? I know a cargo trailer would be best for a race car and have LQ built in but the wife really likes 5th wheel for the comfort and luxury.

I need to make a decision in the next couple of days so any input is welcome. One thing I did see is there are allot of rules about posting negative so please stay within the rules. I’m looking for personal experiences not what you’ve heard.

Thanks in advance.

BTW i think the modle number is M-4005 FTL and it has the 5 foot extention

I would factor in new Heavy duty tires right off the bat.

That rule isn't what you think. It's to prevent disgruntled customers from bashing a brand or dealer. In the past we've seen upset members search for the brand they hate and then add nasty posts to every thread that mentioned their brand. That's bashing.

I could tell you stories all day long about my experiences with Weekend Warrior (good and bad, mostly bad though) without bashing them.

My complaints are more about the company than our trailer. We've owned our trailer for six years and still love it.

So you already know that Weekend Warrior is history. That means there's no company standing behind the rig. Just know that going into it. Inspect the trailers completely, because you'll be buying it "AS IS". There are good ones and bad ones. If you pick wrong though, there's no going back.

We love our WW. Great trailer, with the layout/options/size that we wanted. Great cargo capacity in our unit too. Hauls great behind my F250 also. That being said, we looked at the FTL+5 before we bought. That was the unit we wanted, out of all the brands out there at the time. I didn't want to upgrade my truck, so the FTL came off the table. Wife loved it though. It was the only trailer that she had no layout complaints about. None whatsoever. I think they are sweet.

You said race car in the garage? Check to see if the Cargo Capacity is up to what you need. Race cars come with lots of support stuff (I'm sure you know this) and it all adds weight really quickly. From my experience, about 5K is the biggest cargo capacity your gonna find out there. Add water and livng stuff to the trailer, and all of a sudden your down to 3K for your car and stuff. Tools add up really quick too. I take mine when we go out, and it's really heavy.

Maybe a race care trailer with seperate living quarters would be an option. Not as frilly for the family, but they are designed for hauling all that stuff. Hope this helps.

So are we all talking about the model I mentioned above? The main reason I’m asking is all the issues I have found have been with the bumper pull type trailers and not the 5th wheels. The particular one I’m interested in was custom modified for a car with longer ramp ect ect. I’m not a pro racer just a guy that like to race. so I don’t have allot of stuff. this one has all the stuff I would normally bring with anyways, fuel station, generator ect ect. I don’t bring spares ... if I break I’m done. Car weighs 2500lbs. and I wouldn’t do long road trips with it.

The model you mentioned was not part of the settlement if I recall correctly but like any rig built by any manufcturer it is prone to have its share of defects so a thorough inspection is required. I don't have that particular model but my WW has never required service and although much heavier than the brochure stated it has delivered great camping experiences wthout a single major system failure through 4 camping seasons. Would buy another and may if Warrior Lifestyles will add more models.

Hey Stony. Yep. We arre talking about your model. FYI, the WW Full Throttle (WW FTL)is a 40 foot unit. They also made some with extra length (WW FTL+5). Thats a rediculous length BTW. hehehe. Sounds like it is perfect for your situation. The "settlement" was for bumper-pull trailers when inadequate steel was used to manufacture the frame, and the tongues were bending I think. Didn't affect the fifth-wheels. Our trailers have the same issues that other trailers have. Regualr maintenance and inspections prevent the majority of them from becoming major issues.

BTW, we really liked the design of the FTL bathroom. Didn't see another trailer that had that layout.

The 5 foot extension with the 17 foot garage is the model I'm talking about. the thing is huge!!! plenty of room and nicety's for the wife and just enough room to go to the track with the car. appreciate everyone's responses please keep them coming... especially if you own one ;>
