Thanks for posting, Not a pretty site. We are about 2 miles from there in the Winter. We are not under water yet but from reports the water is not going down much if at all. Our park has water use restrictions because the water co. fears it's pumps will be flooded.

I live just a few miles from there. Hate to see people loose their winter homes. We have already had our normal yearly rainfall!

The flooding in the RGV has not reached the news in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas at least not on the radio. I heard about this flooding on Texas Overnight with Charlie Jones on KRLD 1080 AM radio Dallas, Texas. Only because there are a couple regular callers in to the show. I don't watch TV, so I don't know if it is even being covered in Texas. Amazing that the news isn't covering it even in-state!

Is the river and floodway water starting to recede? There is little to no information on KRGV or Monitor websites. Are Llano Grande golf course still under water, or Pepe's and Riverside?

Not nice..After waiting 3 months for delivery of our new 5er...we had it 10 days and it was written off by a flood in the RV park we stayed in 3 years ago. I was in it when the flood hit and was rescued by S&R unit. Not a fun time and dealing with insurance company was hell..they wanted to fix it (after we had 6" inside the rig.) Yeah like it would be as good as new...We got a brand new one so it was wait another 3 months for delivery.

We drove down the levee past Chimney park last weekend, the water was a little high in the boat launching ramp but the rest of the park looked dry. There ws a segment on the local news about a couple who had driven down from MI to see how they fared bur their trailer was totally destroyed. It was reported that about 1/3 of the park had been under water. Around Riverside and Pepe's the water had receeded but I could see a watermark on Riverside about 4 to 5 feet high. The middle of the field at Pepe's still had standing water but couldn't see any around the building. Many of the field between the Inspiration bridge and CP along the levee still had plenty of water.
