Got an answer on what's going on with my TH.
Here is the last post explaining things...Background post...
Anyways, got a call back from Tim and we had a nice long chat. Here's the deal.......
It appears that the new Fusion 398s are now being made with the axles moved rearward 20"s over how mine is setup. They say they have never noticed an issue with the older ones, but mine brought up this serious issue and the line has been changed mid stream because of my odd-ball one. Guess it's not odd if all of them were made that way. Guess I'm the only one that truely noticed a pin weight issue so far.
Anyways, I was initially given three options, here they are.
1. Take a new 2011 398, with the axle fix, right off the line. Good plan, cept they don't make the Touring Edition II anymore, and I would be loosing close to $7K in extras that I really liked.
2. Swap my trailer for any Keystone trailer of equal value. Another Fusion, Raptor or even a Montana or something else.
3. He says they are coming out with a new Touring Edition in Oct. I can wait till then to see what fancy features it will have. In the meantime, they could transport my trailer back and we could use it till then.
I had asked about option four.....complete buy-back. He says that the upper management would have to ok that, and probably only after all other options fail.
I also asked about compensation for the lack of TE II feature on the new 2011s and how they could make that up to me. He said they could add a second AC(in the bedroom instead of garage), but all the cool features, stereo remote, central vac, dovetail storage, extra speakers, fans, powercord, slideout selector switchs, etc.. could not be added. I(and the wife) really liked these features. They are what put us over the edge over the Cyclone.
I truely don't know what to do. Told the wife to go to the Keystone website to see what she thinks.

Using yours until the new is available and not losing any value (assuming the new touring edition is comparable)sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Retain your current unit until Option 3 can be executed (assuming they don't try to bicker over any depreciation and use that as a point of negotiation when it comes to options on the new unit).

Option #3 (in writing) sounds pretty good.
I'm a "bird in the hand" kind of guy and usually push for the quickest resolution possible in case the other party has a change of heart, but I think I'd be willing to wait if that's the model I really wanted.
I'd also take a hard look at the other models though (Raptor, etc.).
Glad to hear they're stepping up and making it right. I hope you get it in writing as quickly as possible.

No kidding!
Mav, since this is the trailer you wanted, I would go with option 3. WITH EVERY DETAIL IN WRITING SIGNED AND NOTARIZED. Don't give them a back door.
Almost forgot. What about the alignment issue? Must be something there as the transporter commented on the tracking. Might want that fixed if going for option 3.

That's a good argument against waiting for option #3.
Maybe it's best to hammer out your deal and then get while the getting's good.

What about everyone else? If they have moved the axles back 20", obviously there is a problem.
