Can't believe I called yesterday Mesa Regal inquiring about the rates for next year and they went down $20 for the monthly rate from what we paid last year. That was a real surprise. Wonder if more parks are doing this also??

Not many will lower rates. Their costs are continually going up, and frankly I dont see a reduction of $20 per month as a meaningful amount that would encourage a higher occupancy rate.

Maybe there is a surprise awaiting you,,ie,,coin operated restrooms, higher laundry rates, or other way to increase revenue.

Chuck, Happy Traveler on Fowler Ave. had decent rates a few years back. There is also a county park nearby, but its name escapes me for now. Someone on this forum will know it.

On edit: Hillsborough River State Park.

And Southern Aire RV Park is between the two.

I was surprised, I made reservations in Rockport and they went down from 275.00 to 240.00 per month. Same elec charge. Hmmmmmm35.00 will buy a lot of bait.

Depends on what you want. We stay at Roberts RV resort because the people that stay there are great. It's like coming home every winter. It's also not that far from whatever you want to do. There are also a couple of RV parks on Ulmerton rd. in largo and the Dunidon area is nice too.

Nice to see .... but is this not one of the Mesa parks who have started to charge extra for water and garbage???

Don't know myself but I have heard some Mesa parks have broken out the costs from the rent.

Count your blessings! Our annual rate in Mesa regal went up about $250!
And sewer and garbage rates stayed the same as for the past 2 seasons.

Florida! Remember anywhere above the south latitude of Lake Okeechobee has winter: ie: cold.
