Our family friend works at a RV dealership in Ohio, we bought our Jayco Eagle from them and they are very responsive to our needs and requests, so we want to buy our Toy Hauler from them this time around... probably will trade in our Jayco... (^_^)

They are a Keystone dealer, but don't have any new Fuzion on the lot, we are thinking maybe we will talk to them and try to order a new one and have them help us work out the issues if we have any. Not sure if they can just order a Cyclone for us, if we decide that we want Cyclone instead.

Still not sure if Cyclone or Fuzion will do better in the cold winter months. Since not many people full time in a Toy Hauler~

Decisions, decisions...

It's not all about the options though either j2davis. I would consider MadMav's troubles with his new Fuzion. Keystone didn't do it's due diligence in the design department IMO. Being off 20" is nearly off two feet! I hope he makes out ok when the smoke clears.

I agree, they really should figure these problems out when they were designing and building them before putting them out on the dealer lot.

However, Keystone seems to be stepping up to offer good options (especially option 3) for Mav to figure out what to do. I personally would go with option 3 on his resolution. But without knowing what the new TE floorplans and features, it is hard to make the leap that it will be better or even close to what he already has.

Our Jayco was a used one, so most of the problems might have been taken care of by the first owner. We are thinking of buying a brand new TH this time, so we are totally new to this game~

I have a new Cyclone 2812 waiting at Holman's to pick up in Aug. A couple of points,
Power ramp is an option on Cyclone, I have it on mine. It still has the awesome pull down screen for the ramp door. As far as lifting manually they should be the same as both use a Lippert Ramp with the same assist springs.

Heartland puts new designs in a freeze chamber to test insulation and heating performance. Don't know about Keystone.

Mine also has new red graphics which look great IMHO.

I sold a 2010 Fuzion 322 which was a good unit but not perfect, Norcalrockhound has chronicled some the things he found detailing it out on this forum. We are looking forward to a build quality comparison when I get the new one home.

I think it's like the corporate jets I have fixed for 35 years, they all have their good, bad and down right ugly

Mark you new unit looks pretty sweet, Kristin show the pictures to me that you sent to her a couple of weeks ago.
I can say I'm or we are vary happy with our unit, I have just finished up putting all the diamond plate in around the tire area's we ended up using 3/16 plate, and it really was a pain but its done and looks pretty good.
I'm the type of person that can not leave anything stock, I want to work on it, improve on it and enjoy it, I've always been like that, so when it came to our TH I was looking forward in improving on a good unit, I will say all in all we are happy and do love this unit, I just wish the QC department would have spent some time looking it over before that shipped it, we are going to heading out shortly to have fun it and do some gold panning so who know's we just might hit the mother load

Yeah the Fuzion is sweet just overkill for Cathy and I. Cathy's business had a project pop up that could not be left on the table so we postponed the trip a couple weeks. Plus this way miss all the people in the Black Hills for Sturgis on the way out.

WOW, It is beautiful! I am so jealous Mark!

Our friend works at the RV dealership just told us they are Heartland dealer too, so we most likely will end up with a Cyclone 3010 since the tested insulation is really important to us.

Still worried about dealing with fixing problems of a new unit. But I guess we can't have everything we want.

I like the idea of getting a new one since we will be using it so much and want something that lasts.

The 2005 Jayco Eagle has served us good the last two years, but it needs lots of fixing right now from the daily use.

May I ask how much you end up paying for this unit? We are trying to budget and see how much we need to put away before we can have enough down payment to get a new rig like yours.

You're going to fix an odd quirk here and there with EVERY unit no matter what the manufacturer is. That's why I said be absolutely sure you have a great, not good, dealer. Jayco's make a good unit I'm told. You'll be very happy with the Cyclone and it's user / dealer / manufacturer support.

STSMARK,
I see there's no rear spoiler on that rig? What's up with that?

GPS,
The little guys, 2810 and 3010 don't have the spoilers as the roof slopes down in the rear.
Only the flat roof models have those.

Fuzion claims to have the best insulation in the biz. At least with the upgrade. Can't see how you can cram any more R-value into a 2" wall.
