Need recommendations on nice camping sites from Ft. Smith north to Bentonville, will be running north on Hwy. 540 and my DW wants all the normal Hook-ups. Any and all suggestions would be helpful.

There is a KOA at Alma, AR that is located on old hwy 71 just north of I-40 Also there are several choices in COE Parks, a nice new one off of hwy 71 north of Mountain Burg

Try looking up Lake Fort Smith Sate Park.

No doubt, Devil's Den State Park is the best in the area. You won't be dissapointed. Or maybe Withrow Springs State Park just east of Fayetteville.

There is Southgate RV park in Fayetteville. On 71 business on the Southside of town. All right for an overnight stop.
