With all the problems on RVs with Lippert components, is there a single brand of RV that does NOT use any Lippert components whatsoever? Just curious...

Since so many RVs use Lippert Components, could the number of problems seem exaggerated? If other brands were as widely used maybe their failure rate would be the same?
Having 50 problems reported when you make 100 RVs would certainly dwarf the 5 problems of a manufacturer who made 10 RVs.
Why would manufacturers keep using products that cost them the extra expense of warranty repairs?
Just wondering...

Most parts suppliers warrant their products to the RV manyfacturer.
So, if its a fridge probelm--Norcold or Dometic covers it. If its an axle problem, then Dexter or whoever covers it.
Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.

I don't disagree with you; we only hear the horror stories, but they're the =same= horror stories. Over and over and over again. Would it be an exaggeration to say that well over 90% of the issues with Lippert components boil down to bad welds of one sort or another? If that's the case, then Lippert has a big problem in their fabrication department.

Can you imagine an automaker getting away with this? Can you imagine the hue and cry if GM said, "Oh, battery failed under warranty? See Delco. Alternator failed under warranty? See Delco. Paint flaked off in the first 200 miles? See Glidden. Transmission failed under warranty? Oh, that was built in Canada, you've got to send it up there for service."

I don't disagree with you either, but if Lippert really did have a big problem in fabrication department, don't you think they would try to fix the issue rather than deal with the extra expense of warranty work and negative good will? I would think that a company with major production issues would be a money losing venture--and I don't know of many companies who aren't driven by the bottom line.
Maybe Lippert is digging themselves a grave, or maybe the overall percentage of defects in the big picture is small enough that it's not a major detriment to their operations.
I guess in not in either of the "glass half full" or the "glass half empty" camps. I'm more in the "somewhere in the middle" point of view .

I am not sure but I believe that Carriage does not use Lippert for frames or slides.
