I have to think that movement is very design-specific. I previously had a Mountaineer 295 and it moved a lot, even with the stabilzers down. Now I have a 326 and it hardly moves at all, even with the stabilzers up. When the stabilzers are down, there's no movement at all. The washing machine hardly causes a ripple when it's running, so I haven't bothered with the tripod so far.

I guess my question would be "just how much can one expect to stabilize a camper, as it's very nature is to move?"
