I went to tractor supply and got some angle iron and some C clamps. $50 for 2 bars and 4 clamps. Takes just about all the wiggle out. I will probably get the kit from plugitright some day soon.

Check out the Winfield RV stabilizer bars and wheel chocks at www.winfieldrvproducts.com. Their bars are very easy to install with no drilling, are easy to use and do a fantastic job of controling all side-to-side movement. In conjunction with their wheel chocks you should have a very solid unit without any side-to-side and front/back movement.

Do what we did SELL IT! Now we have downsized to an 18 foot TT & love it.

And this helps the OP how? If he wanted a TT he would have bought one.
I made my own version of the JT Strong arms and they do a great job.

Yeah, my 5er came with rear BAL telescopng stabilizer which stopped side to side sway back there. I bought a pair of adjustable chocks that stops fore and aft movement and a pin stabilizer that eliminated side to side movement at the front. I'm rock solid.

The JTs or simular products will do the same.

I put chocks behind my wheels both sides. Then I back up on the chocks. Then have DW Kick chocks in front of the front wheel. This really tightens up the wheels. We get very little movement this way. Don't believe me? Try it!

add some type a chock between the tires...not the wedges that set on the ground... Bal is what we use... also have a bi-pod kingpin stabilizer.... or install the stabilizer arms between the front landing gear...
Those 3 will tighten it up..

Why didn't you show them your DIY stabilizers?

I did, for several years. Then I bought the JT's!

I get very little movement in our rig. In fact, even with 4 kids and two 80lb labs, it is steady. I admit the strong arms look like they would really tighten things up, but I can't justify the price.
