There is no difference between park and neutral, except the park pawl is engage in park which has no influence on cooling.

As far as pulling over and idling to cool trans temps down a bit,I have a chip from DP-Tuner,it has different power levels for towing, performance,it also has a high idle tune for keeping the A/C cooler when sitting still,it would pull alot more air through the radiator/transmission cooler,it might be something you want to look into....

Got the thing installed. Out of all the places I found for a step by step, nothing mentioned taking the bumper off. Might be common sense, but it never occurred to me. I removed the grill and rubber air dams, but I wrestled and contorted my hands and arms for two hours last night just trying to get the bolts out. I had a revelation while lying in bed trying to sleep about removing the bumper. Got up at first light and Bingo. 6 bolts get the bumper off and it is all laid out before you with easy access to everything. All the holes lined up, I zip tied and put chafing covers on the hoses, added fluid, then took an hour test drive and all seems well so far.

Thanks again for all the input.
