For big things we check Craig's List.
For other stuff we shop around.
Walmart is ok but I seldom go there if I am looking for quality. I'm not afraid to spend more if it will last longer.

We do shop at Camping World. We don't buy a lot, but they are convienent only being a few miles down the road. I like being able to see the stuff and to ask questions.
We've bought a couple things at Walmart, but of course they don't carry as much stuff.

Ikea is good for some kitchen knick knacks, storage bins & boxes, hangers, blankets, towels etc.
