I must admit I am starting to look at the calendar and the road atlas............ we need to be in Mesa by October 20th for a convention. I find it much less painful to work on the RV rather than the sticks and bricks place.

How soon will you head south for the winter??

Oct. is the first month weather is cooler. Most snowbirds find mid-Oct on acceptable. The monsoon rains have stopped, bugs are nearly gone & evenings are always cool.

Have been to the Tucson area many times & that was my snowbird plan but the wife prefers Texas so, Happy Wife, Happy Life. I like both TX & AZ myself.

Planning to give Arizona a try this year instead of the RGV. Will probably leave home about mid-Nov.

We will be leaving mid November, that gives us time to get the home and yard "winterized". New adventure for us!
