We would like to spend a month or two in the Pismo Beach area for a month of two in the winter season.

Would like some general information as to what they are like and which is maybe less expensive than others .. looked at one which was $1458 (including charges for dog) per month in January .. come on there has to be somewhere in the 500-700 range in there somewhere ..

We have a 32 ft. TT and one 9 lb chi dog .. and would like to have with some basics including club house, but don't need a pool, playground, etc. Anyone out there who can share their experiences.

We have friends in the Pismo Beach area and would like to spend some time in that area.

Pismo is an expensive area with few if any RV parks in the price range and amenities you are needing. Try looking in towns south of Pismo.

Last winter we spent a week at Pismo Sands which is located a couple of miles from the beach. It was very clean with a nice pool and a small clubhouse but had little in the way of planned activities in the park it's self but close to all local events and the beaches. Pricing was very reasonable.

Thank you - will look at Pismo Sands .. just frustrating when one is on a budget to find campgrounds or parks where one can reserved for a month.

I did find the receipt and we paid $260 for the week when we stayed there the last week of February, 2010. I belief the monthly rate that we were quoted for March was $650 plus electric. As I said earlier it is not on the beach but a very short drive. The surrounding area is not the best but the park is spotless with good sized sites and great washrooms and laundry. There is a children's play area by the pool.
Enjoy where ever you end up.
