Has anyone ever instaled a new roof vent? I want to put one in the bedroom area where there isnt one now. I'd imagine this could be done, just wondering what I'd be getting myself into?
Thanks

I have installed roof vents in a couple of units we have had. If you can get a print of the roof showing wiring, AC ducts, structural components in the roof from the manufacturer, it makes the job much easier. Also if you will be installing a vent with a electric fan sometimes you can use wiring that already is in the ceiling area. That's another reason to get a print if possible.

if you do it, get something to block the morning light....woke us early every morning until I stuffed a light-blocker pillow in it.

Ditto on the print (drawings).

I did one on an 04 Starcraft. Contacted the manufacturer and told them what I wanted to do. They were very helpful with drawings as to where the structural members, AC ductwork, and electrical wiring were located. The install went very smooth, with no leaks. Starfcraft did ask for the VIN number, so, they would have a record, in case of any warranty issues.
