Have a satellite finder hooked up to the dish, but am unable to adjust the needle, it is pegged all the way full. What am I doing wrong, any help is appreciated. They can be obtained from the Net. But in general you twist the adjustment knob until the needle is on the low end of the scale. Then when you get the needle to peg by moving the dish, you adjust the need to the low end again and tweak the dish to increase the needle reading. You do this until you get no more increase from moving the dish. Also make sure it is hooked up right. It should be about 12 to 18Volt DC with the receiver turned ON. Then connect the signal meter,watch the direction of the meter. eg. receiver / dish side. As to the other replies, I know there is a knob to adjust, but what I was trying to say is that turning the knob does nothing, the needle is just pegged to the max. It is just a SD receiver. Works fine in the house, but not when I try it in the MH. I think it might have something to do with the Wingard control box that everything goes thru, but that is only a guess.
