If you want to sample PA Dutch cuisine, get off of I-78 in Lenhartsville PA and navigate to Deitsch Eck, right in the "center" of town on Rt. 143. Good food at a fair price and lots of it. This was the place where for the one and only time in my life I literally ate myself sick.
I would also suggest a short drive a bit further north of Cabela's on Rt. 61 to Port Clinton. The Port Clinton Peanut Shop has the most mind-boggling selection of candies and confections you'll ever see, including candies from many years ago. Worth the trip.
