Move to Texas, cut out your cat & muffler, chip it, and blow so much black smoke you cant see your trailer!
Now that was funny.

That was Funny, I bet you sure piss off the guys behind you!

LoL nahh. I'm easy on it, unlike my friends. I try and drive my truck conservativly for the most part, I really just play with it to have more pulling power since my trailer weights around 14,000#.

I have a fuel system, intake, straight exhaust, custom chip, and I have stage I injectors and a HPOP sittin on my work bench waiting to be installed. That should do it for now.

Yeah, whatever. It was still funny. Been there with the tuners and smoke and side mounted exhaust - it is a blast!

Just got the "smog test", the guy plugged into computer, did a visual, and charged me $60. I think the paperwork took the longest? What a joke....

Finally got around to get her tested, other than a PITA to make time and the $$$ its not a big deal, unless your modded !!
Looked Her over, plugged into the computer and checked for "codes" and punched the throttle a few times while they looked at the tailpipe.`

Having worked at a shop that did "smogs", I can say their biggest fear was a "Bait car" comming in and having something wrong that the tech did not catch. Seen/heard it many times and actually worked on one myself, fortunatly I found the problem and made the correct diagnosis.

Mine will be due in December and I was very concerned as I have made some mods........I did some research and have found this info from the state of California web site....Diesel emmisions testing.........Go the the tab that says Diesel Testability Issues and drop it down.....Just after you open it you should see "Aftermarket parts products in progress list"...Items on this list will not cause a vehicle to fail even without an EO....I may make a copy of this and take it with me to the smog station....I hope this is of some help to all.

I thought that these "products in progress" were all pending CARB approval?
It says that these are parts with "Pending VC 27156 Exeption Applications"

So your saying my '06 Juice With Attitude is OK to leave on at inspection?

What's an EO?
