My 05 SUV hasn't needed to be smogged yet. Any others with this problem ?? It's no big deal but still a PIA and just a way to squeeze more money from the middle class to support welfare. I am surprised that you only have to pay $643. I just renewed my 07 Dodge Ram registration for a little over $600 here in Nevada. They look for all the factory equipment and no mods(programmers), ect and they do test it. I had a heck of a time selling my oregon plated truck down there because of the smog ordeal. Luckily I found a guy tagging it elsewhere The truck was straight piped and ofcourse stupid me didn't keep the other parts when cut off.
