Are there any places in SC or GA you can drive a 4wd vehicle off road to camp at?

You might try---JK-Forum.com and JKOwners.com scroll down and you will see different States for trails and ect... Good luck.

There isn't anything that would be considered off road or require 4wd. However, for getting away from it all, check into the Laurel Fork Heritage Preserve and the Jim Timmerman Natural Resource Area.
Only other area would be the gravel roads near the Chattooga River in the NW corner.
