I use my TT for work on occasion and I was recently camped on a drilling location on private land. I was talking to the landowner about going to the nearest dump site to empty my tanks and he told me to just put the dump hose down one of the MANY prarie dog holes behind my camper and send it down. It was his land so I decided to try it. I had to send it down slowly so I stayed at the valve till it was all gone. Worked fine. The next day I noticed that one of the MANY prarie dogs running around location had a blue tint to him. I also noticed that all the other prarie dogs kept their distance from him. They also managed to stay downwind of him as well. I probably ruined his love life and for that I am sorry. As some of you may have guessed, my screen name refers to my favorite pasttime of shooting PRARIEDOGS. So I don't mind shooting them, but this was terrible. Next time, I'll just go to the nearest dump station.

I'm absolutely speechless too! Wow! What a story! I'm laughing so hard, I've got tears in my eyes! Oh that poor Prarie Dog! I just read this post to my wife. I think she's wetting her pants from laughing so hard!

Oh that poor critter!

I keep thinking of this post now. I keep reading the motto "Life's tuff. It's even tougher if your stupid". Now Dogshooter, I'm not calling you stupid, but what did you think was going to happen. Now I've got to say, I would not have expected a blue prairie dog but..... Oh forget it. It is funny. I'm still speechless though.

Badgers deserve it. But that poor prarie dog (that we named Blue Boy, by the way)I just feel so ashamed.

On a more positive note, the rig hands felt sorry for him too and started feeding him. He did get fatter, but seemed to have no romantic prospects when we finished drilling the well and left location.
