This is the catalogue system that my dealer uses (as well as most rv dealers up here). Open the link and scroll down to the right and you will see the various lengths that you can order. As I mentioned before, I have a 20' hose that works great for my purpose.

The LP supply places should be able to make you a hose of any length you want…

I have tried several places, no luck, I have a huge bulk tank and only have to fill about once a year, I really don't want to haul another tank and then have to refill it when needed.
I cannot find the LP hose anywhere in bulk lenghts, I would make my own if I could locate the hose. I understand that it is about 3000lb psi? I do know that some use a simple air hose, I don't think that it is rated high enough for propane use, especially high pressure propane., that is why I was thinking of moving the regulator to the tank instead of on the grill...I also did not want to use 2 different hose connected together if I could find a 20' length...any more help out there?

I can’t imagine anything other that delivery trucks requiring 3000 PSI hose, and they require a 5 to 1 margin in the hose they use…

Your tank pressure is most likely around 200 PSI and needs to be regulated… even high pressure regulation would bring it down to about 10 PSI and you only need about . 5 PSI for most uses…

RV hoses are ratted at about 350 PSI… most lp supply places I have been to carry it and make hoses to length…
You can also find them here up to 40 feet

These folks have high pressure LPG hose to 40' in standard packaging and can custom make any length you want:

High Pressure LPG hose

Scroll down about half way... They also sell the various fittings that you might need to terminate the ends of the hose to a usable configuration for you needs.

My 2 cents, your mileage may vary...
