My mother and father owned Wilderness Campers in Unity, WI in the 60's through late 70's. Me and my brother is looking for photos of units for family history. Trademark sign is "Wilderness Campers" with three pines behind the logo. From WI - they were shipped all over the country - moreso after 1971 as my dad bought a semi & trailer that year to distribute all over the west.
In 1971 he grossed new $1M in sales, so there should be a few out there as that was big $$ back then. Funny, business must have been good as I was born in '72.. lol
70's Gas embargo dried up market and business didn't survive. He and his stories from the business passed in '92.
As we're nearing on the 18 yr anniversary, it seems we're looking for all things tying back to the company..
