Looking around for a light weight toyhauler to pull behind a 2004 suburban, 5.3, 3:73's, 7200 lbs towing. Looking for something light weight to take the wife and two boys out with. I like the front sleeper models.

Good luck getting anything light enough with a front sleeper, most are 23' plus and will be way over 7200 # when loaded. You need a bigger tow vehicle first.

Check out Dune Sport on Main Street in Mesa, they might have what your looking for. Great company to deal with, we purchased ours there in 2008.

So I had a chance to rent a toyhauler over the long weekend. I had found a guy who rents rv's and had a 19 foot Rampage Way-lite. He claimed it weighed 4800 lbs. Shorter than I'd like but a good starting place for us.
I pick it up Friday, take off, and I was thinking, "man this thing feels heavy!" I pulled on the scales at the nearby Cemex plant. I grossed out at 12,700 lbs. My Suburban on the same scales with me and my two kids with a full tank of fuel was 6,200 lbs. That means the 19 footer was 6,500 lbs without anything in it.....it did have 65 gallons of water and 16 gallons of gas on board. Thats crazy, for such a small trailer. The sticker inside said the unloaded weight was 5200 lbs.
The Burb pulled it okay but it got a workout! I'm not sure what I weighed afer I put our******in it and a couple of dirt bikes. I made it up just below Flagstaff at an elevation of around 7500 feet. I averaged 7.5 mpg.......yikes! It never got over 210 degrees, I don't have a tranny temp guage. I gotta get ouot and check out the Dune Sport guys in Mesa!

most dry weight on trailers is done without anything in them (water, gas, toys, personal equipment). i wonder if TVs or optional stereo equipment is included with dry weight. 65 gallons of water is 543 lbs. alone. don't forget the hitch weight, unless it's not included in the weigh-in.
getting back to THs, the attitude or stellar 'lite' models may be good. also the forest river stealth SS1812 or 2216. it's a side sleeper model but still up front. the factory says dry weight 4640 and 4688, respectively.

You will be over 7k with most front sleepers. The fuel mileage is part of the RV life if you plan to continue with you gas suburban.

I have a 2008 Keystone Passport Breakaway 25FQ. It has a dry weight
of 4900#s. I tow it with a 2002 Chevy Avalanche 1500. I have not had
any troubles with it loaded with a 2008 Arctic Cat TRV700 and 2006
Yamaha Wolverine 450. I have been from Northern Arkansas to Wisconsin and all around the hills of Arkansas. Admittedly I have not attempted
to head out to Colorado or other high elevation destinations, but on
relatively flat ground I do not have any issues. I also get about
7.5 miles/gallon when fully loaded. I typically travel with very little water in the holding tanks.

Then you could think bigger with the RV...
