I JUST TOOK A PIECE OF THIN METAL cut it about 8 inches square and duct taped it to the top of the driver side slide. the antenna sticks to it, works 99% of the time.Very rarely, the signal may be blocked by a roof rafter so an inch or 2 movement fixes it. The plate slides effortlessly through the gasket when the slide is opened. One just has to remember to remove the antenna before deploying the slide.

I also attached mine to the roof using a compatable sealant and ran the wire right thru the roof vent without making any new openings. Inside the TT I used white plastic self adheasive wire covers to run the wire to the radio, you can't even see the wire covers as they blend in with the ceiling. The installation was easy and a great add on to the TT.
