If you're going to go to the trouble of jacking up the rig while it's in lengthy storage (which I see no problem in doing) I'd also suggest taking off the tires and storing them in a cool, dark place. Will help to extend the life of them more than anything else.

I would rather use wood blocks, than jack stands. Less prone to sink. Or even failure due to fatigue. No cinder blocks either. They can crush. If you are leaving the tires on, you don't need to take ALL the weight off the axles. Just some of it.

And if you are going to that trouble, think about supporting the front too. A small hydraulic fluid leak, and your landing gear can sink to the bottom. A bigger leak from a mouse eating thru the line, can make it sink alot faster.

Here in the north, in winter storage, we raise the front higher for water runoff, to help prevent ice buildup. But should not a problem in Florida.

We lived in our 5er for 9 months while our house was built. I used concrete blocks under the main frame rails. I lowered the front of the 5er with the landing jacks. I then placed blocks behind the rear axles about half way to rear end of the trailer. Then I raised the front with the landing jacks till I could slide concrete blocks under the front and still be level. I lowered the jacks till the frame was sitting on the blocks. Zero structures or sidewall skin canning issues for the 9 months it sat on the blocks.

This didn't raise the tires till they cleared the ground as it would simply have made the unit to tall. A tall structiure here in Oklahoma catches lots of wind which we get plenty of at times.
