Jury duty was cancelled-hooray for many reasons! Tomorrow I'll get the trap and I'll catch this kitty. I spoke to it last night from my window while it was bathing on my picnic bench. Scared it off, but it came back later and finished it's meal.

I'm on the edge of my chair waiting to see the next development of this adventure. Keeping fingers crossed.

Kitty is being fed by the neighbors-table scraps, so my kibble doesn't even get a taste anymore. I'm not griping,I'm hoping kitty will find a home with them. I do wish they'd pick up the paper plates when kitty is done though!

I'm sure if you talk to your neighbors they'd be happy to hold off feeding kitty in order to allow you to catch it and get it some care.
If not, though.... a can of cheap dark meat tuna, preferably packed in oil, will cause kitty to forget all about everything else. Drip the juice in a line up the center of the cage, and then scatter bits of tuna around the back of the trap. Smoked canned fish can be good this way, too. But tuna is cheap and available. Or if all else fails, an original recipe drumstick from KFC.

Ditto on talking to the neighbor and canned salmon rocks a cat's world, too!!
